7. Looking back at your Preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

I have used many different technologies products for this Project, such as Photoshop, In Design, Camera, Blogger, Google. we have used these different technologies for different things.

The main technology i used for making my front cover, was Photoshop. I thought Photoshop would be the best thing to use for my front cover, because it has many different tools I would have to use to make my front cover, look more professional with Photoshop.Photoshop has helped me to edit and refine photographs i have used within my magazine.Through creating my magazine coursework, i learnt more about Photoshop, about its layers, and how they can be an advantage with making images and backgrounds look more appealing and professional.

I also used InDesign for my magazine coursework. I used InDesign for my contents page, and my double page spread. I thought InDesign would be better to make these, because InDesign is more about the design rather than the quality of the photos. I found InDesign much easier to use than photoshop, i found the tools very useful for what i was trying to achieve with my contents page and double page spread. InDesign is alot more simpler than photoshop.

Blogger has been very useful for this project, because you can keep track of everything you have done, and you can access it really easily at home. Its also well organized you can understand everything, because it neat and easy to read. Blogger is a useful part of media studies because you know where everything is on Blogger, and you can see what you need to finish and if everything is organized and if you are missing anything. And at the side of your blog page, it keeps a track of what you've done and when you did it, which is useful.

The internet has been a very useful part of my coursework because I have used many images from the internet to give me inspiration on my genre for my magazine coursework. I have also had to research my target audience, so I know what kind of things they like to do, to help me figure out what I want my magazine to look like, and know what I need to write about.

I used a Digital SLR camera to take my front cover photo. I have learnt a lot more about these cameras, such as the setting i had to have them on, to take the right sort of photo. we had to have it on the picture of a woman, which is a setting to focus on the person, and then makes the background look blurry, which makes the photo look very effective for the front cover. I used my own digital SLR camera, because I'm much more used to my camera rather than the colleges. I thought it would be alot more useful to use a camera I'm more used to, rather than using a camera which I'm not 100% sure how to use.

YouTube.com, has been a very useful site, to see many interviews of my target audience, so I can see it live, rather than seeing it just by pictures.so I have found you tube.com, a very efficient site, rather than looking up on Google written interviews.
